What is the Aid & Attendance Benefit?

1 in 3 seniors in this country is a veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran.

These heroes – our fathers, mothers, spouses, friends – may be eligible for a unique benefit through the VA called “Aid and Attendance.”  This benefit provides funding up to $24,648 annually to help keep loved ones safe and comfortable with home care assistance.

Millions of qualifying veterans and families go without Aid and Attendance – simply because of a lack of information or lack of help.

Assisting Hands of Minneapolis will help you to quickly determine whether you or your loved one may be eligible for this benefit.  Simply complete the form below and we will contact you directly to answer any questions you have about the benefit.  For more information on the wide range of services we offer, please visit our website directly at http://www.assistinghands.com/minneapolis.

Are you a Veteran or the Surviving Spouse of a Veteran that was honorably discharged?

If Surviving Spouse, were you married to the Veteran at time of death? (never divorced)

If Surviving Spouse, did you remain unmarried after Veteran's death?

Since you are a Veteran/Surviving Spouse, the VA also looks at income and assets to determine eligibility. Can you please confirm that your assets are less than $80K? (Excludes car & home)
